One of my sites has been getting whacked lately.
Favorite method appears to be: - Fraud clicks pay by check - affiliate company recognizes sale immediately - Since I am an incentive site, if I recognize the sale I am on the hook to pay out part of the sale. - Two weeks later: no check, sale is invalidated.
I agree, it is silly for them to recognize a sale by check until it's cleared. But this has happened with a variety of affiliate programs.

There is probably an obvious answer to this that I am missing, but why don’t you hold of recognizing the sale until the merchant confirms that the check has cleared?
Or, if they refuse you that information, don’t pay out until 2 weeks after the sale.

I guess I was trying to be a nice guy and reward people quickly (under a week). Just stinks that a few people mess things up.

kurt you must look if this affiliates approve incentive site's, almost 60-70% of the affiliates doesn't agree with incentive and they cancel your sales. Understand ?
Good Luck
